The Well Connected set to launch luxurious yoga and wellness breaks in the UK
WATCH OUT for the New Year launch of a company offering luxurious wellness breaks and events in the UK.
Throughout 2016, The Well Connected will bring the vibrancy of the thriving wellness scene to the most beautiful venues throughout the north of England, putting its guests directly in touch with high-profile wellness experts and making investing in yourself and your wellbeing an ultra-luxe experience.
Its offerings will include a lavish fitness break with celebrity personal trainer Olivia Cooney, who has trained the likes of Laura Whitmore, Katherine Jenkins and Millie Mackintosh; luxurious contemporary yoga retreats with Charlie Morgan – a favourite of Deliciously Ella, Sweaty Betty Ambassador and yoga instructor to the Harlequins rugby team; and a glamorous juice and spa retreat in collaboration with one of London’s best-known, cold-pressed juice companies. All retreats and events will take place in spectacular venues throughout the north, including Brimstone Hotel, a lavishly contemporary country retreat, and Gossel Ridding, a breathtaking private house in acres of its own gardens overlooking Windermere.
The Well Connected has been created by Nici Hewitson who, during a decade working in television in London, got a taste for all things wellness, but on returning to her roots in the Lake District, felt increasingly frustrated at the lack of a wellness offering north of the capital. Nici told Essential Journeys: “The Well Connected is a labour of love really. There are few places more restful and inspiring than the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Northumbrian coast, and these are just a few of the jewels in the crown of the north. We want to be a part of innovations and trends as they are happening, not five years later, and this is what The Well Connected will change; we are bringing wellness beyond the capital, in a luxurious, contemporary way.”
The Well Connected’s first retreat will take place in the Lake District on 2 February 2016.
