LÁNG Terrace and Jenson’s Gin delight summer senses with gin-infused sweets, treats, pitchers and punches

THROUGHOUT AUGUST, in keeping with the hotel’s continued commitment to supporting local purveyors and producers, Shangri-La, At The Shard, London, has teamed up with local gin distillery Jensen’s in Bermondsey to unveil a month-long Summer Gin Terrace at LÁNG.

Summer Gin Terrace - LANG - High ResSpecially designed to celebrate all things summer, the terrace will serve sharing pitchers and punches of gin-and-tea-infused delights alongside gin-infused cakes, ice lollies and non-alcoholic varieties for younger guests.

Jensen’s two unique gin blends, Bermondsey London Dry and Old Tom, are historical recipes that use only classic gin botanicals. They celebrate the traditional style of old London-made gins; the Bermondsey Dry emulating gins of the mid-20th century, and the Old Tom using an original recipe from the 1840s. The tea-infusions will be made from the hotel’s own signature tea blends and perfectly chilled to complement the last of the summer heat.
